6xxx series alloy (such as 6061 aluminum rod)
Marine 6xxx series alloys are mainly used to produce extruded profiles. The representative alloy is AA6061 alloy (mainly used in the United States and Canada)
and AA6082 alloy (mainly used in European countries).
Although the strength loss in the heat-affected zone of AA5083-H111 alloy after welding is less than that of the O state, it is still insufficient compared with the H116 or H321 state. Because these two states are work-hardened states with metastable grain structures, the strength of the heat-affected zone can be better restored through treatment.
