The upstream and downstream of the aluminum rolling processing industry also show typical pyramid distribution characteristics: the upstream hot-rolling link has a large single-line production capacity (generally 100,000 tons to hundreds of thousands of tons) and fewer production lines; the mid-stream cold-rolling link has a small single-line production capacity (most (100,000 tons), with a large number of production lines; the single unit production capacity of the terminal foil rolling link is smaller, only a few thousand tons to tens of thousands of tons.
Therefore, some enterprises have a small construction scale and usually do not have upstream hot rolling or casting and rolling production lines, and they purchase blanks for back-end processing.

At present, the links in the industry chain with tight production capacity are hot rolling and foil rolling. First of all, since the expansion of production capacity is concentrated in the cold rolling link, the contradiction between supply and demand in the cold rolling link is smaller, and the upstream investment is large and the scale of a single production line is large, so the industry invests less and more cautiously in the upstream.
Secondly, in terms of terminal applications, the demand for aluminum foil is strong, so the foil rolling link is also in short supply (since there are no precise statistics on the production capacity and output data of different production links, the data in this paragraph are rough estimates).
