The raw material of aluminum foil is aluminum, which is usually produced by electrolysis. Mix bauxite or aluminum oxide powder with sodium hydroxide solution, heat to high temperature, and then pass in current to reduce aluminum ions to aluminum metal on the electrode. The aluminum metal produced in this way has high purity and good physical properties and can be used to make aluminum foil.

Next, the aluminum metal is heated to a high temperature so that it melts. Then, the molten aluminum metal is injected into the continuous casting machine, and the aluminum metal is pressed into aluminum plates of a certain thickness through the action of rollers. This process is called continuous casting.
