1. Storage environment requirements
Dry and ventilated
Aluminum plates should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment, with relative humidity controlled at 50%-70% to avoid moisture causing surface oxidation or corrosion spots.
If it is necessary to temporarily store it outdoors, it must be covered with a rainproof cloth to prevent rain and snow from intruding.
Temperature and light control
Avoid direct sunlight. High temperature will accelerate oxidation and deformation. A cool area should be selected.
The storage environment temperature must be stable. Extreme high or low temperatures may affect the performance of the aluminum plate.
2. Moisture-proof and anti-oxidation measures
Isolate the ground from moisture
The bottom of the aluminum plate needs to be separated from the ground with a wooden mat, with a spacing of at least 10cm to prevent water accumulation or moisture penetration.
Packaging protection
Retain the original packaging (such as moisture-proof paper, plastic film), and reseal it when damaged to prevent dust and moisture from adhering3.
It needs to be covered with a rainproof cloth during transportation to avoid rain during transportation. III. Placement and stacking specifications
Classification storage
Aluminum plates of different specifications and surface treatments need to be stored separately to prevent collision and scratches (such as anodized plates and untreated plates need to be isolated).
Avoid storing with chemical materials and wet materials to prevent contamination or corrosion.
Stacking pressure management
The number of stacking layers should not be too high, and buffer materials (such as wooden boards and rubber pads) should be placed between layers to prevent deformation.
It is recommended to store large-sized aluminum plates vertically to keep them flat and reduce the risk of distortion.
IV. Regular inspection and maintenance
Daily inspection
Regularly check whether the surface of the aluminum plate is oxidized, scratched or deformed, and clean the slightly oxidized parts in time and re-protect them.
Check the sealing of the rubber strips. If they are found to be detached or aged, they need to be repaired in time to prevent moisture from intruding.
Post-transportation processing
If the aluminum plate is exposed to rain, it needs to be wiped dry with a dry cloth immediately and ventilated to avoid oxidation caused by residual moisture.
V. Long-term storage strategy
Reasonable stocking
Plan the stocking quantity according to the usage cycle. It is recommended to use it within one week to reduce the risk of long-term storage.
Unopened aluminum plates need to be left to stand for 2-3 days before storage to balance the temperature difference between inside and outside before use.
Special environment response
In coastal or high-humidity areas, packaging materials with stronger moisture-proof performance (such as double-layer moisture-proof film) are preferred.
Humidity monitoring equipment is installed in the warehouse to adjust storage conditions in real time.
