Description

Henan Gnee New Material Co., Ltd. is one of the most reliable manufacturers and suppliers of aluminum branch outlet fittings in China. With abundant experience, we warmly welcome you to wholesale high quality aluminum branch outlet fittings in stock here from our factory. Good service and reasonable price are available.

GNEE supplies aluminum branch outlet fittings - Weldolet, Sockolet, Threadolet, Elbolet, and Latrolet - for creating branch connections from aluminum pipe runs and elbows. A branch outlet lets you add a smaller branch line without installing a full-size tee.

We have 18 years of experience in aluminum product manufacturing and ship to customers in Southeast Asia and South America. Common applications include instrumentation branches, compressed-air lines, water and utility piping, equipment connections, and marine piping.

How a Branch Outlet Works

A branch outlet fitting installs directly on the run pipe or elbow at the location where you need a branch connection. The run pipe stays in place - you just need a correctly sized opening for the branch.

Run Pipe → Branch Outlet → Branch Pipe

For welded outlets (Weldolet, Sockolet), the run pipe needs a properly sized opening and the joint is welded according to the applicable welding procedure. For threaded outlets (Threadolet), the branch pipe screws into the outlet.

Aluminum Alloys

Alloy

Properties

Common Use

6061

Good strength, good machinability, versatile

Standard choice for branch outlets

6063

Good surface finish, good extrudability

Lightweight piping, decorative applications

5083

High corrosion resistance in marine environments

Marine piping, welded marine connections

5086

Good corrosion resistance and weldability

Marine and industrial applications

6061 is our default alloy. 5083 and 5086 are available for marine and corrosion-resistant applications.

For welded branch outlets, the effect of welding on the heat-affected zone should be considered during alloy selection. Tell us your service conditions and we will recommend the right alloy.

Thread Options

For Threadolet and other threaded outlets, specify both thread standard and size:

NPT - ASME B1.20.1, common in North America

BSPT - common in Asia and the Middle East

NPT and BSPT are different thread systems and are not interchangeable. Please specify the correct one for your piping system.

Example: "DN100 run × DN25 branch, 6061-T6 Threadolet, NPT" gives us everything we need to quote.

Quality Control

Every branch outlet goes through the following checks before shipment:

Material identification - confirm aluminum alloy

Dimensional inspection - run profile, branch bore, overall dimensions

Run profile check - pipe contact geometry

Thread gauging - thread profile and fit (for threaded outlets)

Weld preparation check - bevel and preparation geometry

Visual inspection - surface condition, machining quality

Documentation - MTC provided on request

Applications

Instrumentation Branch outlets provide connection points for pressure gauges, temperature instruments, sensors, thermowells, and instrument tubing.

Compressed-Air and Pneumatic Lines Used around compressors, filters, regulators, dryers, and pneumatic equipment where branch lines need to be added to a main run.

Water and Utility Piping Suitable for selected water and general utility piping. Check service medium compatibility before selection - aluminum is not suitable for every chemical or water condition.

Equipment Connections Installed near pumps, valves, filters, heat exchangers, and auxiliary equipment where compact branch connections are needed.

Marine Piping 5083 and 5086 alloys are available for marine piping applications. Before ordering, confirm: seawater exposure, service medium, operating temperature, design pressure, welding procedure, and pipe wall thickness.

FAQ

What are aluminum branch outlet fittings?

Fittings used to create branch connections from an aluminum run pipe or elbow. GNEE supplies Weldolet, Sockolet, Threadolet, Elbolet, and Latrolet.

Weldolet vs Sockolet - what is the difference?

A Weldolet uses a butt-weld branch connection. A Sockolet uses a socket-weld connection - the branch pipe fits into a socket before welding.

Sockolet vs Threadolet - what is the difference?

A Sockolet connects the branch by socket welding. A Threadolet uses an internal threaded connection (NPT or BSPT).

What is an Elbolet used for?

A branch connection on an elbow, used when the branch location is on a curve where the main pipe changes direction.

What is a Latrolet?

An angled branch outlet, typically 45°, used when the branch needs to leave the run pipe at an angle.

What alloys are available?

6061 and 6063 are our standard alloys. 5083 and 5086 are available for marine applications.

Can you make custom branch outlet sizes?

Yes. Send us a drawing with run pipe OD, branch size, alloy, wall thickness, and quantity. We will review and quote.

Can aluminum branch outlets be used for marine piping?

Yes, 5083 or 5086 alloys are suitable for marine applications. Confirm seawater exposure, welding method, and service conditions before ordering.

Do you provide material certificates?

Yes, MTC is available on request. We are ISO 9001 certified.

Do I need to provide a drawing?

For standard sizes, run pipe size, branch size, alloy, wall thickness, connection type, and quantity are enough. For custom dimensions, a drawing is recommended.
