1. Lightweight (low density)
The density of aluminum is about 2.7 g/cm³, which is only 1/3 of that of steel. It is the preferred material for lightweight design and is widely used in aerospace, automobile manufacturing and building structures. It can significantly reduce the overall weight and improve energy efficiency.
2. Corrosion resistance
When aluminum is exposed to air, it will naturally form a dense oxide film (Al₂O₃) to prevent further oxidation. It can resist humid, acidic and alkaline environments without additional coatings. It is suitable for outdoor building materials, ship parts and chemical equipment.
3. Electrical and thermal conductivity
The electrical conductivity of aluminum is about 60% of that of copper, but it is lighter and cheaper. It is often used in high-voltage transmission lines and electronic components; its thermal conductivity is excellent and suitable for thermal management scenarios such as radiators and heat exchangers.
4. Ductility and machinability
Aluminum can be easily formed into complex cross-sections (such as thin-walled profiles and curved parts) through processes such as extrusion, rolling and forging, and can maintain good strength after cold processing, supporting large-scale industrial production and customized design.
Gnee Steel (tianjin) Co., Ltd is a modern supply chain enterprise with aluminum processing, sales and distribution as its core industries. It was established in 2008. After about 15 years of development, it has customers in more than 100 countries and regions around the world. It has more than 200 employees, a total investment of US$30 million, and a factory area of more than 35,000 square meters. The company specializes in the production of high-quality aluminum products, including aluminum foil, aluminum tubes, aluminum alloy plates, aluminum rods, aluminum coils, etc.
