Why polish?
In the processing of aluminum plates, anodizing is usually used as the last step to protect aluminum parts. Because aluminum alloy plates are generally easy to oxidize, although the oxide layer has a certain passivation effect, it will peel off and lose its protective effect under long-term exposure. Therefore, anodizing is to use its easy oxidation characteristics to control the generation of anodized aluminum sheet oxide layer by chemical methods to prevent further oxidation of aluminum materials and increase the mechanical properties of its surface.

If there are scratches, anodizing is still performed, and the marks cannot be covered or even more prominent.
