1060: 1060 is an ordinary industrial pure aluminum with an aluminum content of not less than 99.60%. Its characteristics are: low strength, and work hardening is the only way to strengthen it.
It has good hot and cold working properties, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and excellent corrosion resistance. It is widely used in industrial equipment requiring good formability, corrosion resistance, and weldability, and can also be used as electrical conductor materials.
2024: The composition and structure of 2024 alloy are the same as 2A12 alloy, except that the content limits of impurities Fe and Si in 2124 alloy are lower. 2024 alloy sheets, thick plates and profiles have been successfully used to manufacture aircraft and rocket skins, cabin sections, integral fuel tank wall panels, wing beams, etc.
