The aluminum profile bending process in the deep processing of aluminum alloy is a delicate and complex process. It uses the precise control of the bending machine to shape the aluminum profile into the required curved shape. The core of this process is that the aluminum profile gradually fits the mold groove under the combined action of bending moment and longitudinal tension, thus completing the elegant transformation from straight line to curve.
Before the bending process, the aluminum profile needs to be strictly inspected to ensure that its cross-sectional dimensions, straightness, blank length and surface quality meet the standards to avoid any surface defects affecting subsequent processing. Subsequently, for profiles of specific shapes, such as inverted T-shaped frames, milling is required to ensure that the dimensions after bending are accurate.
Entering the bending stage, the aluminum profile is tightly clamped by the jaws of the stretching cylinder and a pre-stretching force is applied to it to reach the yield strength. Subsequently, the rotary cylinder of the bending machine loads the bending rotation, and the stretching cylinder applies axial tension according to the preset program, so that the profile slowly fits around the bending die and gradually presents a perfect bending arc. During this process, the stretching cylinder always pulls the elongated part of the material length to compensate, effectively avoiding the tendency of the material to wrinkle and ensuring the uniformity and smoothness of the curvature.
After the bending is completed, detailed trimming and inspection are required to ensure that the flatness, angle and cross-sectional width of the bending part meet the design requirements. If necessary, auxiliary equipment such as a three-roller bending machine is required to fine-tune key parameters such as the R value until the predetermined shape and size are achieved.
