1050 H14 Aluminum Sheet Overview – Commercially Pure Aluminum Plate

The 1050 H14 aluminum sheet is produced from aluminum alloy 1050, a commercially pure aluminum in the 1000 series, with a minimum aluminum content of 99.5%. As a result, this aluminum plate offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, and good electrical and thermal conductivity, while maintaining relatively low mechanical strength.

As part of the 1XXX aluminum family, 1050 aluminum sheet is widely selected for applications where strength requirements are moderate, but formability, surface quality, and conductivity are critical.

1050 H14 Aluminum Plate Temper & Processing Characteristics

The H14 temper of the 1050 aluminum plate indicates that the material has been strain-hardened by cold working to a half-hard condition, without subsequent full annealing. This processing improves strength and hardness compared with the annealed (O) condition.

After cold working, the alloy may undergo controlled temperature stabilization to enhance ductility, allowing the 1050 H14 aluminum sheet to be bent, formed, or shaped without cracking. Each sheet is typically supplied with a protective PVC film on one surface to prevent scratching during handling and fabrication.

1050 H14 Aluminum Sheet Density & Standard Sizes

The density of 1050 H14 aluminum sheet is approximately 2.8 kg/m², making it significantly lighter than steel while still offering excellent rigidity.

Commonly supplied dimensions include:

Thickness: 5 mm and 6 mm

Sheet Size: 3000 × 1500 mm

Custom sizes and thicknesses can also be provided by GNEE based on project requirements.
