3003 drawn aluminum tubing is a manganese-alloyed aluminum product that is commonly used for heat exchangers and condensers in chemical equipment and pressure vessels. 3003 Aluminium Tubing has excellent corrosion resistance, workability, and weldability properties.
There are two varieties of 3003 aluminum tubing.
1) 3003 Aluminium Extruded Tubing: Made by hot extruding through a die, aluminum 3003 Extruded Tubing is available in both seamless and structural grade options.
2) 3003 Aluminium Drawn Tubing: Aluminum 3003 Drawn Tubing is a seamless extruded tubing that is drawn through a die to achieve its final size.

Aluminium alloy 3003 supplied by GNEE contains approximately 1.25% manganese and about 0.1% copper, which enhances its strength compared with 1000-series aluminium grades. It is classified as a medium-strength alloy that can only be strengthened through cold working, as it is not heat treatable. This alloy offers good weldability, excellent formability, and reliable corrosion resistance. Typical applications include general sheet metal fabrication requiring higher strength than 1000-series alloys, profiled building sheets such as roofing and siding, insulation panels, and hollowware, as well as food and chemical processing and storage equipment.
GNEE Aluminum 3003 is a widely used alloy valued for its very good resistance to atmospheric corrosion and moderate mechanical strength. It provides good machinability for an aluminum alloy, despite being non-heat-treatable. Unlike many other aluminum grades, 3003 can be welded using conventional welding techniques. It also performs well in both cold and hot working processes and generally exhibits better mechanical properties than 1000-series aluminum alloys.
