Aluminium foil can be divided into hard foil, semi-hard foil and soft foil according to its condition.
①Hard Foil:Aluminium foil without softening treatment after rolling, when not degreased, has residue on the surface. Therefore, hard foil must be degreased before printing, laminating and coating, or it can be used directly if it is used for moulding process.

② Semi-hard foil: the hardness (or strength) of aluminium foil between hard and soft foil, usually used for forming process.
③ Soft foil: Aluminium foil that is completely annealed and softened after rolling is soft and has no residual oil on the surface. Soft foils are used in most applications, such as packaging, composites, electrical materials, and so on.
