A large amount of investigation work was carried out on the 6061 aluminum rod process department. In order to solve the problem of black drag and slag inclusions in finished product defects, reduce the amount of scrap, and improve the yield of finished products, through long-term tracking, the following three methods are proposed to prevent black drag and slag inclusions:
1. Integration of mold planning and delivery plan:
1) For three-dimensional molds, such as PM series, guide plates need to be added or removed to stop the flow, which enlarges the feed opening and forces dead space;
2) The mouth of the material container must be completely surrounded by the mold guide holes. The team leader should compare the disassembled molds of each group. If there are signs of excessive diversion holes and the machine cannot be used for delivery, it will be necessary to switch to a larger machine for delivery;

3) When planning shipment, plan according to the original machine of the mold department (can be used with the same diameter as 6061 aluminum rod), do not flash the mold of the 6061 small aluminum rod shipment machine for large rods;
1) After cutting the 6061 aluminum rod, you need to use an air duct to blow away the dust on the 6061 aluminum rod (note that the aluminum pipe should be kept clean), increase the soot brought in, and add sources of black and slag inclusions;
2) The extrusion speed should be effectively controlled, especially at the end of the process, to prevent turbulence from being involved in surface impurities;
3) Stop cleaning the gas cylinder every time you change the mold;
1) If the extrusion rod is misaligned, the extrusion rod will wear the trough during movement, resulting in defects such as large trough and deformation;
The center position of the mold base should be at the center of the top, bottom, left and right sides. It is strictly prohibited to stop delivering the stent. If the top and bottom are not aligned, please contact the mechanic for training;
2) Long-term use of material containers may cause deformation, such as the appearance of a big belly, and may also lead to batch scrapping. This type of scrapping usually occurs during labor and needs to give rise to discrimination. Before installing and removing a new material container on the machine, the dirt in the container must be removed and polishing stopped.
