Aluminum foil for waterproofing is a self-adhesive waterproofing membrane with metallic aluminum foil (that is, a hard metal film) as the surface layer. This kind of rolled material has the characteristics of moisture-proof, air-tight, heat insulation, resistance to solar ultraviolet light, and abrasion resistance. Aluminum foil waterproofing membrane is generally composed of a self-adhesive layer, an intermediate layer and a waterproof surface layer, with a thickness of about 1.5mm. The main raw materials include butyl rubber, polyester cloth and metal aluminum foil.
Butyl rubber is mainly used in the self-adhesive layer to enhance the bonding force of the membrane. It is also resistant to aging, not easy to fall off, and can be used for a long time. Polyester fiberglass cloth is used as the middle layer to effectively ensure that the roll is not easily deformed, resistant to high temperatures, and has super waterproof function.
