Cold Rolled Aluminium Coil Specification:
Cold rolled coils are precision processed and comply with international standards. They offer good shape, high tolerances, versatility and a flawless surface. They are used in commercial and general engineering applications such as bus bodies, cladding and fan blades.
Using cold rolling technology (rolling under cold conditions), the required strip specifications are achieved in passes 1-7 on a 4-high mill.
Rolling oils (oil derivatives containing special additives) are used as coolants and lubricants.
When engraved rollers with specific patterns are introduced into the roller set, tread coils are obtained instead of smooth cold-rolled coils.
After the cold rolling process, the coil is sent to one or more additional processes: annealing, trimming, slitting, degreasing, tension straightening (stretching), leveling, embossing, coil coating, rolling Press forming and cutting to length. Process quantity depends on delivery requirements.
Cold rolled coils can be produced in 1xxx, 3xxx, 5xxx and 8xxx series alloys, with product quality based on alloy and condition sheets based on customer requirements.
