Aluminum Double Feather Edge Trim, also known as "DFE", is a slender aluminum profile with curved corners on both sides and a flat base.
The purpose of feathered edge molding is to fit or secure these parts into the application, thereby benefiting from their smooth and beautiful appearance and providing a wear-resistant finish.
DFE profiles can also be used as doors, carpets or floor thresholds to securely secure and bridge the gap between two areas of the floor.
All of our double feather edge moldings are supplied in 6063T4 grade aluminum. This is a medium strength alloy. It works best in complex construction applications. 6063 has a good surface finish, high corrosion resistance and is easily suitable for welding if required.
