6082 6063 aluminium glazing bead profiles Description
6063 aluminium glazing bead profiles have strong extrusion molding capabilities and can produce ultra-thin or complex cross-section bead profiles. They are suitable for high-precision glass installation and have high compatibility with surface treatments (anodizing, spraying).
Applicable scenarios: Conventional building scenarios such as aluminium window frame profile, aluminium section partition, low wind pressure curtain wall, etc., focusing on economy and decoration.
6082 aluminium profiles are slightly more difficult to extrude (requires higher pressure equipment), and the complexity of the cross section is limited, but the finished product structure is more stable and has strong impact resistance.
Additional notes Surface treatment: Both can be anodized or sprayed, but 6063 is more suitable for high decorative requirements due to its better surface finish.
Insulation design: If a thermal insulation structure is required, 6063 is more commonly used due to its easy processing, while 6082 is mostly used for non-insulating pure structural parts.
